La Furia Win the Intramural Soccer Championship
November 3 - Pouring rain did not dampen spirits yesterday in the ISL, as both teams fought valiantly in a tense but ultimately scoreless first half. La Furia struck first in the second with a goal from captain Marcucci, hoping it would be enough for the victory. Within seconds of the end of regulation time, the Eagles tied up the match, forcing overtime. Two brief extra halves couldn't settle the match, but the final kick in shootouts, off of Furia's "Brick Wall" Barberini's foot, sealed the championship for Furia. Former La Furia team captain Luca Cioffi would have been proud. Warriors of the match: Nicholas Cury and Matthew Venditti. Stars: Nicholas Laye and Luca "Big Boot" Barberini. Thank you all for a wonderful season!

Cadet Football Semi-Final Win Will Live in Memory Forever October 28 - The Warriors marched into the Golden Eagles' nest last Friday and rose like a phoenix from the flames with an incredible victory. The team was down by 13 points with less than four minutes remaining. Offensive coordinator Alain Cloutier called some crafty plays and the offence executed them to perfection. The TSN turning point was a squib kick by team captain Philip Hacala that he recovered himself, thereby enabling the offence to march down the field for a touchdown. With the score 49-48 in favour of Loyola, Dalbé-Viau had a minute to try to win the game. The Loyola defence had other plans, however, and an interception by Wilson Belley assured a magical and scintillating victory for the Warriors. The championship match will be played next Saturday on the road versus the prickly Cactus of Notre-Dame. Tom Reynolds' photos of the game are available on our SmugMug
